Building a community for every stage of life.
Ten years ago, my husband Desmond and I chose Apple Valley as the place to raise our family. Since then, I’ve organized our neighborhood’s Night to Unite, I have volunteered with youth basketball, soccer and softball through VAA, and spent countless hours in our parks and community spaces watching my two children grow up. I care deeply about the place we call home.
Over the past several years, I’ve become increasingly involved in our community by regularly attending City Council meetings and serving as Vice Chair of SD56, District Five. Through those experiences, I saw firsthand how local government shapes our everyday lives and ultimately decided to run for Apple Valley City Council.
Apple Valley has built an incredible city over the last several decades. It’s our responsibility, as residents and as City Council, to make the most of what we’ve already built by helping our neighbors connect with one another, contribute to their community, and access local government, community spaces, and city services. In doing so, we support public health and safety while helping more residents benefit from everything Apple Valley has to offer.
I’d be honored to earn your support this November.
